We’ve raised a $23M Series A to give pro sports teams the control they’ve always deserved.

August 12, 2025

From our earliest conversations with pro sports teams, it was clear: they didn’t need a better ticketing system. They needed a comprehensive solution.

We’ve seen up close how hard it is for pro sports teams to run like modern businesses. Too many front offices are boxed-in by outdated tools, misaligned business models, and flying blind when it comes to their fans.

Every other major industry has modern, purpose-built technology designed to address that specific industry’s needs. Sports has never had it. So we built it.

Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve raised our Series A, led by Alexis Ohanian and the team at Seven Seven Six, to double down on our unified fan experience platform for professional sports teams.

We’re thrilled that our existing investors are also participating, from Forerunner Ventures to the top funds in sports tech: Courtside Ventures, Will Ventures, Drive by DraftKings and more. We are also bringing on several new team owner investors who recognize that the old way of doing this just doesn’t make sense anymore.

So, why this round and why now?

Because the opportunity — and the need — is bigger than ever.

There’s a sea change happening in the sports world right now. Old owners are on the way out. Tech-savvy, digitally focused team owners are on the way in. These owners and their teams want to go directly to their fans. They want control. They want their data. They want to deepen relationships with their fans. They know the existing tools and legacy tech stack holds them back, and there’s been nothing they can do about it…until now.

Since our last fundraise, we’ve been building—and delivering. We launched our first professional club, replacing not just a legacy ticketing provider but an entire stack of disconnected tools. That rollout included an attendance record-setting home opener and zero operational issues. We’ve proven that Jump can power the full fan journey: from first tap to final scan, across ticketing, sales, marketing, and operations, all in one platform.

Our momentum has only picked up as we signed NBA and WNBA teams and are gearing up to go live in the NBA in a few weeks. Along the way, we’ve built a platform that can handle everything from day-one sales to seamless ticket scanning, while giving teams the tools to personalize, automate, and actually own their fan experience. And we’ve done it with a world-class team of 50 people–engineers, operators, and fan experience obsessives–who care deeply about helping teams run smarter and faster.

Why Alexis and Seven Seven Six?

When our CEO Jordy Leiser and Alexis reconnected around this opportunity, their shared vision was immediately clear. As a trailblazing entrepreneur and sports team owner, Alexis knows this pain firsthand. He's a builder first, investor second, with deep conviction in the future we're creating – one where sports teams can finally break free from outdated constraints and operate like the D2C brands they truly are.

The team at Seven Seven Six understands that the real value in sports isn’t just the media rights or ticket transactions – it’s the connection, engagement, and lifetime value of each fan.  We’re grateful to have them as partners as we kick off this next big chapter at Jump.

Looking ahead

This fundraise provides the capital and runway to prove that a better, more personalized fan experience is possible. We're investing aggressively in product innovation – delivering modern tooling and automation for teams while creating seamless, personalized experiences for fans. This funding will allow us to demonstrate at an NBA scale how sports teams can finally capitalize on the same efficiencies, revenue growth, and AI opportunities that leading D2C companies get to enjoy every day.

Jump is vertical software designed specifically for sports teams, and we believe it’s the best platform in the world to address the needs and opportunities of this industry. That said, we are aligned with venues that wish to keep their legacy ticketing systems for concerts and other events.

For example, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, the MN Timberwolves and Lynx will use the end-to-end Jump platform for ticketing and the fan experience, while all other concerts and shows in the arena will be powered by AXS. Why should sports teams be forced to use a retro-fitted concert platform, along with a patchwork of point solutions, to run their team? Jump opens up the classic best-in-breed opportunity for large-scale venues: Jump for sports and legacy ticketing companies for concerts.

What we believe

The fan experience has been stuck in the past for too long. Teams deserve better. Fans deserve better. And we believe the next decade of sports will be defined by the teams that take control of their data, their fan experience, and their business across every touchpoint.

That’s why we built Jump. That’s why our investors believe in it. And that’s what this latest round of funding will help us do at scale.

If you believe what we believe – that the winners in sports business will belong to the clubs that take control and ownership of their end-to-end fan experience, then you should reach out.

We’d love to work with you.
