Minnesota Timberwolves: Ticket Ops at Playoff Speed
When every game can change demand for the next, things happen quickly. Prices move. Holds come off. Inventory opens up. Ticketing teams have very little time to react and very little room for error.
The Wolves were already running tickets, pricing, offers, inventory and payments in Jump. So when staff needed to make a change, they described it in plain language, reviewed what Jump AI proposed and approved it directly in the system.
The Timberwolves changed thousands of price points in a single minute, updating four events in one session. In total, the team made tens of thousands of pricing and inventory changes with Ops Assist. Every staff member with access used it each week, including throughout the playoffs.
The Wolves trusted it when the pressure was highest
The team started using Jump AI in November 2025. Only a few months later, it was part of the playoff workflow.
Staff used it to release inventory, adjust pricing and manage offers. Jump AI turned those requests into specific ticketing actions and showed staff what would change before anything went live.
By the postseason, every Wolves staff member with access to Jump AI used it each week.
Pricing work stayed inside Jump
Ticketing teams often have to pull data out of their system before they can work with it. Export the pricing. Make the changes in a spreadsheet or another tool. Import the file again. Check that everything landed correctly.
Multi-step, multi-system processes take time, and every handoff creates another chance for error.
With Jump AI, the Wolves could make those changes directly against the live pricing, inventory and offer configuration already in Jump.
Staff could describe the result they wanted, review the proposed changes and approve them without knowing every screen, field or sequence of clicks behind the work.
That opened sophisticated ticketing work to more of the team and reduced dependence on the few people who know every corner of the system.
Staff kept control over what went live
Before approving any action, staff could see exactly which pricing or inventory Jump AI planned to update.
The Wolves kept that review step in place as usage grew. Across pricing and inventory, they used Jump AI to execute tens of thousands of changes.
Impact
- Thousands of price points updated across four events in one minute
- Tens of thousands of pricing and inventory changes made with Ops Assist
- Weekly use by every staff member with access throughout the playoffs
My dream is that all of us have our own agent, and we’re just being better at our jobs, and we’re getting rid of all the kind of mundane tasks that slow us down.
— Matt Caldwell, CEO, Minnesota Timberwolves
The Wolves could react faster without adding more manual work to the process.
Staff spent less time navigating the mechanics of a ticketing change and more time deciding what needed to happen. Once they made that call, Jump AI could carry the work through inside the ticketing system.
